Operation Vow Renewal: I Still Do

My parents anniversary was coming up, and I knew I wanted to do something truly special to celebrate their enduring bond. Enter Operation Vow Renewal: a top-secret mission to surprise them with a second “I do.”

The first step was stealth. I enlisted the help of my wedding industry friends and siblings. We needed to get my parents to the beautiful beach estate that I booked, Hinae’a Estate, without blowing the surprise. Transforming the beach house into a ceremony space was pure magic.

Tears welled up as my dad’s eyes met my mom’s, a silent conversation passing between them. A smile crinkled the corners of his and her eyes. The surprise was a success!

Their ceremony was short and sweet, but overflowing with emotion. As they stood hand-in-hand, their eyes locked, the years seemed to melt away. They exchanged vows that spoke of unwavering love, weathered storms, and a future filled with laughter and grandchildren. A beautiful reminder that love deepens with time, and every chapter deserves a fresh declaration.

Planning this surprise vow renewal was exhilarating, a labor of love for the couple who taught me the true meaning of commitment and partnership. Seeing the joy on their faces, the raw emotion in their renewed vows, was a reward beyond measure. Thank you, Jesus for this union.
