Hale Koa Estate Wedding in Hauula | Ten + Jesse

Getting to be a part of Ten and Jesse’s wedding was so much fun! From the moment we met them I knew their wedding day was going to be like no other. Nestled in Hau’ula, Hawai’i lies the beautiful Hale Koa Estate, their dream venue, and a special place that they’ll never forget. The whole day was full of personality and spunk! I mean, have you seen her dress?! Such a statement! Ten’s vibrant and outgoing persona mixed with Jesse’s laid back energy really compliments them both. They also loved to joke and never once was there a dull moment. Even during a pandemic, and some sprinkles of rain, nothing could have stopped this dynamic duo from walking down the aisle and saying “I do.”

Ten looked absolutely stunning in her non-traditional lavender lilac whimsical wedding gown which, did I mention, she sewn herself? A seamstress by heart, she even sewed her bridesmaids dresses and their mask to match with it! Fun fact: Ten and her bridesmaids called each other “superfriends” because they were all besties in school back in the day. Down the aisle, she wore glittery Dr. Martens while “See The Light” from the movie Tangled played in the background. So much character from the smallest of details went unnoticed truly made this day so special! Me being a Disney lover myself, I was singing along behind my camera.

Their intimate day at Hale Koa Estate was packed with close family and friends coming together. Some even flying in from the Philippines! Their family was amazing and wouldn’t stop feeding us all the Filipino dishes. I can definitely say we left with full happy bellies. Everything about Ten and Jesse’s wedding resembled so much about them and how important it was to celebrate as one. They had a vibrant colorful scheme, lots of love and laughter, a little sprinkle of rain after their kiss, and a dinosaur mascot walking around during reception for giggles. It was nothing but good vibes and their day was definitely theirs. We were so lucky to be a part of such a wholesome celebration!
