Hawaii Beach Maternity Session

Celebrating their first baby girl with a Hawaii Beach Maternity Session at the beautiful Waialae Beach Park.

Weather in Hawai’i is always unpredictable and can change within a moment’s notice. Although it was a gloomy day with dark clouds when we arrived for D&H’s photoshoot, it still turned out so beautiful with soft cotton candy skies. During a Hawaii Maternity Session, we have to be able to adjust with our surrounding situations.

Maternity Attire

Mommy H couldn’t have worn better attire to feature her cute baby bump. She found both of her maternity outfits from one of our favorite online stores, Amazon. Mama was gorgeously highlighted in her pink gown while taking photos with the green palm tree backdrops. While on the beach, she effortlessly posed for our camera and felt so confident in her skin during her Hawaii Beach Maternity Session. The mommy-to-be was so much fun to capture and definitely made our job easy as a photographer.

Prior to our session, we always encourage our clients to share their outfits with us and assist if needed. This helps with making sure that you are the focus of your photoshoot. We also invite our clients to bring two outfits to change into. It’s so cool to see personalities shine through their choice of clothes.

Featured Backdrops at Waialae Beach Park

Waialae Beach Park has so many backdrops to feature, it makes it fun to have all the different characteristics in your photos including the bridge over the water, palm trees, ocean wall, and beach. With the variety of backdrops, this makes it easy for us to be “trigger happy” and photograph many images. This has to be one of our favorite locations to share with our clients. Due to this location being near the popular, Kahala Hotel, this beach park can become quite busy throughout the week. But this doesn’t stop us from returning and capturing more Hawaii Beach Maternity Sessions.
